Pocket Tote - II
I had so much fun making my first pocket tote that I kept at it and made another. This one also features the Picnic line by Melody Miller for Cotton + Steel. What's not to love with this vintage look print, it's so cute! I used some red webbing for the handles on this one and I love how it pops with the fabric. If you want to see my other pocket tote and get more tips on making this bag check out this post. You can find the free pattern here.
Summer is here in New York! What fun projects are you working on lately?

Judy, this turned out great! I love lots of pockets! And you are right, the red handles are perfect with the C&S fabric!
ReplyDeletewhat a cute tote, would it fit an A4 folder? I'm thinking my kid could use one of those to take to school
ReplyDeleteThanks! Its depth is a little bit over 11 inches, so the folder might stick out of the top a half inch or so.
DeleteThat is the cutest bag ever ... I can see you having lots of fun outings with it. Enjoy the sunshine :)
ReplyDeleteGreat little tote - am pinning that to my to-do list! Is winter here in Southland, NZ, so one more week of school until a two-week July break during which I hope to finish a baby quilt, dining chair covers and cushions for my mother, and quilt a top that's been waiting for about seven years!
ReplyDeleteThis is the cutest bag - adorable! That print is perfect and I love the pop of red. Thanks for sharing the link to the pattern!
ReplyDeleteThis is the sweetest little bag! The fabric ic perfect!
ReplyDeleteCuteness! The red webbing really brings it all together. Well done!
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love C+S fabrics? And combined with this pattern, it's perfect! Thanks for the link, I have some cute modern prints and some webbing that should work nicely. Thanks for the inspiration! Love your bag!
