Another set of quick projects that I made using scraps. Sometimes it's nice to just put something together and see how it goes. My brother and his wife bought a new house in Florida and they are doing a lot of renovations. I gave them this at Christmas so they would have something for their new kitchen when they went to the house over the break. As you can see, once again I went for the tried and true tossed nine-patch. Still practicing my FMQ stipple...might need to master some other motif soon!

Potholder and Bowl Potholder

Very cool use of scraps - they look good!
ReplyDeleteGreat gifts and great use of scraps!
ReplyDeleteThose are a couple of nice pieces. I really like that bowl potholder. How nice to put the bowl in and leave it. It's a good way to protect the counter top, also. I'm sure they will really enjoy both pieces. Visiting from Crazy Mom Quilts linkup.
